To make this page, I used some basic supplies that happen to be some of the ones I use most often! MATERIALS USED TO CREATE MY SLEEP TRACKER PAGE So I like to use a grid chart to track my sleep. Keeping my sleep tracker simple is the key to me actually setting it up each month and using it! If it takes too long to draw out, I’m not going to keep up with it from month to month. SLEEP TRACKER BULLET JOURNAL STEP-BY-STEP Notes About Things That May Have Impacted Your Sleep – Are you sick? Is something stressing you out? Did you eat a big meal close to bedtime? Making a note about things that don’t fit into your usual routine can help you see how they affect your sleep.Sleep Quality – If you track your quality of sleep or energy levels, you can see if different amounts of sleep have an impact on you.You can quickly see trends in the time you’re sleeping. Sleep Time Frame – Tracking when you slept can be a huge help if you’re trying to get to sleep earlier or wake up earlier.Total Sleep Time – You want to be able to see how many total hours of sleep you’re getting each night. If you’re setting up your own sleep tracker for the first time, there are a few things to consider including in your layout: It’s really a great window into how your sleep habits may be impacting your life! You can also track your quality of sleep, your energy level, and even your mood to see if there are connections between all of it. Are there certain days of the week when you struggle to get enough sleep? Are there certain times of the month when you don’t sleep as much or as well. Using a tracker is a great way to help you identify your sleep patterns and see trends. Whether you use a sleep tracker journal or single pages of free printable sleep charts, there are many benefits from tracking your sleep habits. Verywell Health lists these as the top 10 health benefits of sleep: So I looked up some benefits of getting 7-9 hours of sleep each night. I know getting enough quality sleep is important but I couldn’t tell you much more than that. By seeing my habits in a visual form, I get a bigger picture. Using a bullet journal sleep log has definitely encouraged me to work on my sleep habits too. I find that getting creative makes it a bit more fun to do.
